WHEN JUSTICE IS ONE-SIDED: A PUBLIC WARNING AGAINST THE ABUSE OF MEN AND BOYS

In recent years, society has rightly amplified the voices of women and girls in the fight against gender-based violence and discrimination. This struggle is necessary and long overdue. However, a dangerous imbalance is quietly growing—one where the abuse, mistreatment, and violation of the rights of men and boys is increasingly ignored, excused, or laughed off, largely under the false assumption that “men can handle it” or that “the law is always on the side of women.”

This mindset is not only unjust—it is dangerous.
A recent disturbing incident, where two ladies allegedly refused to pay an Uber driver and went further to assault him, is a clear reflection of how some individuals have grown bold in abusing men, confident that the system will either protect them or look the other way. This was not merely a disagreement over fare; it was an act of violence, humiliation, and entitlement. Had the roles been reversed, the public outrage and legal response would have been swift and unforgiving.

This article serves as a public warning:
Being a woman does not give anyone the right to abuse, assault, intimidate, or violate the dignity of a man or a boy.

The Silent Suffering of Men and Boys
Across homes, workplaces, schools, public transport, and relationships, many men and boys suffer silently—emotionally abused, physically assaulted, falsely accused, or economically exploited. Society often tells them to “man up,” discouraging them from speaking out. When they do, they are mocked, doubted, or dismissed.

This culture of silence is killing men—emotionally, mentally, and sometimes physically.

To Women Who Abuse Men: This Is a Warning
Let it be stated clearly and firmly:
Abuse is abuse, regardless of gender.
Using femininity as a shield against accountability is immoral and unacceptable. Violence, manipulation, public humiliation, and false accusations are crimes, not privileges. Any woman who mistreats a man or a boy should expect consequences equal to those faced by any male offender.
Equality before the law must mean exactly that—equality.

A Call to Men: Stand Up for Your Rights
To men and boys: your life, dignity, and rights matter.
Speak up. Report abuse. Document injustice. Seek legal redress. Support one another. Silence has never protected anyone. Strength is not found in suffering quietly, but in demanding fairness and justice through lawful means.
Standing up for your rights does not make you weak—it makes you responsible.

A Strong Appeal to Law Enforcers and Policy Makers
We urgently call upon law enforcement agencies, the judiciary, policymakers, and human rights institutions to recognize a painful truth:
Men and boys are also victims.
Justice must not be gender-biased. Laws and their enforcement must protect all citizens without prejudice. Abuse against men should be investigated with the same seriousness as abuse against women. Selective justice is not justice—it is oppression.

Conclusion
A society that protects only one gender while neglecting the other is sowing seeds of resentment, injustice, and social breakdown. True gender equality demands balance, fairness, and accountability for all.
Let this be a wake-up call.
Abuse has no gender. Violence has no excuse. Justice must have no bias.
